You wouldn’t think a light bulb needs its own instructional video but you’ve never encountered GE’s C light bulbs.
Behold this three-minute long instructional video on how to reset these incredibly dumb app-connected lightbulbs.
While the video was posted in January, it’s recently surfaced thanks to eagle-eyed Twitter user Josh Jordan, who reveled in its absurd delight.

After the third “turn off for 2 seconds” and “turn on for two seconds” you think ‘This can’t possibly go on longer’ but you still have some twists and turns to go.

The instructions seem too absurd to be true but Jordan checked the instructions in the video against those on the official GE help website and they match up perfectly.
