The West End adaptation of The Kite Runner will debut at Dubai Opera

Broadway Entertainment Group and Dubai Opera announced today that the Middle East debut of the West End production of The Kite Runner will be taking place at Dubai Opera. The best-selling novel by author Khaled Hosseini has received rave reviews from critics since being published in 2003.

The story is set during turbulent times when Afghanistan was on the verge of war. It follows two best friends, Amir and Hassan about to be torn apart, by a terrible incident that will shatter their lives forever. The Kite Runner has sold eight million copies worldwide.

The novel was adapted into a film in 2007, directed by Marc Forster, who also directed major flicks like Monster’s Ball, Finding Neverland, Stranger than Fiction, Quantum of Solace, World War Z, and Christopher Robin.

The Kite Runner will have five showings: Thursday 27 February 2020 at 8:00 pm, Friday 28 February 2020 at 3:00 pm & 8:00 pm and Saturday 29 February 2020 at 3:00 pm & 8:00 pm.
