Netflix has released its first sneak peek of Selena: The Series

Netflix has shared its first little look at Christian Serratos (The Walking Dead) as legendary pop star Selena Quintanilla. The upcoming series Selena: The Series – Part 1 will premiere on the platform in 2020.

The charming clip features Serratos’ getting into character, donning Selena’s iconic red lip, bangs and sequined flared jumpsuit. Serratos then heads to a soundstage and rehearses “Como La Flor,” before a voice offstage calls, “Alright, Christian. We’re ready to shoot.”

The show’s premise will depict Selena Quintanilla in a coming of age story detailing her rise to stardom.
