Italian priest accidentally live streams mass with Facebook filters on

An Italian priest spread joy earlier this week after his live-streamed mass went viral. Paolo Longo, parish priest of the Church of San Pietro and San Benedetto di Polla in Salerno province wanted to give church-goers the chance to attend mass from home.

So, he decided to use Facebook’s live feature to stream the ceremony. However, he failed to notice that he had turned the filters on.

Longo consequently performed the ceremony while images of boxing gloves, a helmet, sunglasses and various hats appeared over his face.

Upon noticing his mistake, the priest maintained good spirits, later posting: “Even a laugh is good.”
