Lizzie McGuire is coming back, and the 13-year old in me can’t stop screaming

This is truly what our dreams of are made of, and we didn’t even know it.

Out of the plethora of entertainment options that were announced at the D23 Expo, there’s only one that got me this excited.

Lizzie McGuire, the preteen who we all aspired to be, who gave a voice of reason to all those voices in our head, is officially coming back and Hilary Duff is all set to reprise her role. Announced at this year’s D23 Expo, Disney+ revealed that the new original will be making its way to the streaming platform, this time as a 30 year old trying to navigate through life.

Although details are scarce at the moment, there is speculation that the original will only be made to the public sometime after November 18^th.
