These celebrities hilariously fell for the latest Instagram hoax

Gone are the days of MSN Messenger and amongst the things we miss are those “share this or your best friend will die” messages. Thankfully, most of us survived those years without being visited by witches hungry for blood turning up at our bedsides at midnight. And, for those of us that did, it’s obvious that not all of us wised up to these kinds of hoaxes.

It’s not just we mere mortals that are overly trusting, however. By now, you’ve probably heard about that ridiculous, privacy hoax that went viral on Instagram stating that the user does not allow the app to use their information. Because Instagram was obviously going to go through each individual’s profile, see the post and go “oh, we can’t use this guy’s stuff, he said no.”

Anyway, the major driving force behind the spreading of this hoax are our beloved celebrities. Among the posters, most of which have deleted the message, were Taraji P. Henson, 2Chainz, Rob Lowe, Tom Holland Usher, Judd Apatow, and Julia Roberts.

Luckily, their Instagram accounts are now safe
