Liverpool FC players surprised "champion dads" for Father's Day with a heartwarming video

To celebrate Father’s Day, LFC players Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Jordan Henderson teamed up with Nivea Men to surprise “hero” fathers. The men, Bernie, Kevin and Brian were initially called in by Nivea Men to talk about their kids, their struggles and how parenting has affected them, but were greeted by some unexpected guests.

The players had recorded video messages for the dads (all Liverpool fans) and surprised them with the messages during the interviews. During a heart-to-heart with father of three girls, Bernie, Virgil relates to his situation by saying, “I’m a dad myself, I have two little girls. I know how tough it can be with girls in the house ‘cos I’m experiencing it myself at the moment.”

But… it was not just an on-screen meet, as it turns out, the messages were not pre-recorded at all!
