Prince Harry has made headlines yet again after a seemingly private phone call has gone viral. The Duke of Sussex fell victim to a hoax phone call from two people claiming to be activist Greta Thunberg and her father.
During the phone call, he claimed to be “completely separate” from most of the Royal Family while also saying his decision to withdraw from royal life was to “protect my son.” He said that he and Meghan were finding everyday life “much better” now. The pranksters, Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov — AKA Vovan and Lexus posted the video to their notorious prank call page.
Asked about his disgraced uncle Prince Andrew, the duke said he is “completely separate from me and my wife”, he also said he had “very little to say on it”. In the since deleted YouTube video, he then went on dismiss criticism aimed at him over his opting to fly on a regular basis, claiming the Sussexes use planes “nowhere near as much as most people who do it for a night or weekends”.
“Um, it’s, that’s probably a conversation for another time, there’s lots of layers to it and lots of pieces to the puzzle,” he says.
“But sometimes the right decision isn’t always the easy one.”
Referring to Trump, he says the fact the president is “pushing the coal industry so big in America, he has blood on his hands because of the affect that has on the climate and on the island nations far far away, again”.
