Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Whitney Houston – all legends gone too soon. However, even after their passing, these icons still have massive fanbases, many of whom would jump at the chance to see them perform live.
Obviously, that notion is near to impossible considering they are no longer with us, but, thanks to a little helping hand from technology, it kind of is. Whitney Houston’s Hologram Tour kicked off last night in the UK, which centred around a hologram of the star performing with two real-life backing dancers and a live band.
Now, if that sounds a little odd to you, it’s probably because it is.

No One Should Be Making Money Off Whitney Houston But Her Mother. Pat & Gary Should Be Embarrassed With This Halle Berry Houston Hologram

This is really unfortunate because I seriously really love #WhitneyHouston and I even wanted to go to the hologram concert, but WHO IS THIS??All the technology in the world, y’all couldn’t just scan her face from live performances and pictures? I don’t even want to go anymore😔😔 https://t.co/khhM3cgL6n

Is it just me who is weird-ed out by these hologram tours? Latest one, featuring Whitney Houston, is currently touring the UK. Isn’t this just capitalising on the dead? pic.twitter.com/wXZFXlHSww
