If, like me, you’re standing on the cusp of Christmas just waiting for the green-light to kick off the festivities, here is your sign. The John Lewis advert has finally been released and it’s anything but a disappointment.
Set to the gorgeous vocals of Bastille’s Dan Smith with a rendition of “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” the advert sees an adorable dragon by the name of Excitable Edgar. Edgar struggles to contain his excitement over the Christmassy antics and ends up, quite literally, setting them alight with his wonderful curiosity.
Edgar even has a Twitter account which has already amassed more than 2,500 followers and a bio that reads: “loves all things festive. Christmas trees, Christmas food, Christmas snow, Christmas lights…”
