This realisation about the iconic Edvard Munch painting will ruin how you see it for life

There are a handful of works of art that everyone can recognise – Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Van Gogh’s Starry Night, Vermeer’s A Girl With A Pearl Earring and Munch’s The Scream. These iconic paintings are engrained in our minds and conjure up pretty accurate images of them in our minds. But, what if what we thought we knew, wasn’t true at all?

One Reddit user shared a slightly different version of Munch’s artwork and it’s messing with people’s minds.

“Newsflash:- “The Scream” has always been a floppy eared spaniel”

Although the image has obviously been edited, people are struggling to figure out where the original stops and the edit starts.

One user wrote: “Can.not.unsee,” while another wrote: “I won’t be able to unsee that.” One simply put: “ruined.”

Honestly, life as we know it has officially changed forever and I don’t know what’s real anymore.
