Here's how James Cameron feels about Avengers beating the longstanding Titanic record

If you’ve been living under a rock, then you’re probably not aware of how much money Avengers: Endgame has made on the box office. The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s last chapter crossed $2 billion globally, and this was last Saturday. And, it seems like there’s no end in sight. Disney also announced yesterday that this will be the first major movie to stream on it’s platform, Disney + come December.

In between becoming a global phenomenon and breaking all kinds of movie making-records, one particular achievement stood out the most: Avengers: Endgame overtook cult classic, Titanic as the No. 2 movie ever at the international box office.

James Cameron, the filmmaker that gave the world both Titanic and Avatar (the top movies worldwide, before the Endgame), took to Twitter to congratulate the Marvel world for its success.

Safe to say, directors praising each other for their work, congratulating one another on their success and giving shout outs has to be a top favorite reason for social media for all of us.
