Kim and Kanye are one of the hottest (and most long-lasting) couple in Hollywood. Amidst controversy, their relationship seems pretty much unstoppable and their little team continues to thrive. So, it’s only fitting that Vogue Arabia invited Kanye to interview his wife about some personal topics for this month’s edition.
The pair decided to keep it honest for the interview, having a deep chat about fame, family and the low expectations surrounding them.
“The shoot and interview reveal a side to Kim that many have never seen before,” adds Vogue Arabia Editor-in-Chief Manuel Arnaut. “Her interview with Kanye is both real and raw, as she talks personally about her career and family life. It was inspiring to assemble this unique level of talent.”
Kim furrowed brows when she announced that she was studying law. I mean, a reality TV star with a brain? Who’d have thought? But she’s not having any of it and the underestimations are fuelling her fire. “There is a misconception that I don’t actually have to study and that I’ve bought my way into getting a law degree – that’s absolutely not true… Being underestimated and over-delivering is my vibe.”
Kim also candidly admits that her fame didn’t happen by accident. “Money was always the goal but I was obsessed with fame, like, embarrassingly obsessed… I do agree that fame can be addictive,” she admits.
She’s no stranger to mistakes, most of which happened under the public eye and went by the name of Kris something-or-other, but she said, “I try to be a good person and to take my mistakes and make them into a better experience — to learn and grow from them and move on.” On her first “proper” date with West she adds, “I was like, ‘Damn, why did I waste so much time and energy? Why didn’t I do this sooner?’”
