Rami Malek is the new face for Cartier’s campaign

The Egyptian-American actor he been featured in a campaign to relaunch the iconic Pasha watch by Cartier.

Cartier took to Instagram to share the news that it is bringing back its signature watch from the 1980s with a short video The caption read, “Cartier relaunches its signature watch from the 1980s, made for those who view the world in a broader way. #PashadeCartier coming in September.’” The stunning campaign has been shot by New York fashion photographer Craig McDean.

Pasha de Cartier is among the luxury brand’s most famous collections dating back to 1933 for the Pasha of Marrakesh. “Since its creation in the 1980s, the Pasha watch has embodied a certain idea of success directly linked to its extroverted design, power and graphic nonconformism,” says Arnaud Carrez, international marketing and communications director of Cartier International. “It is as edgy as ever and in tune with today’s new generation of creators. These new Pasha ambassadors owe their success to their differences, creativity, connection, multidisciplinary talents, and generosity.”

The Oscar-winning actor who also previously been the brand ambassador for Cartier has been chosen to star alongside Game of Thrones actress, Maisie Williams, sing Willow Smith, rapper Jackson Wang and singer Troye Sivan. Malek was also the face of Yves Saint Laurent’s SS20 earlier this year and has regularly appeared on the best dressed actors in Hollywood several times.
