During The Al Salam Championship, Emirati cyclist Anan Al Amri collided with a fellow cyclist, resulting in her falling to the ground with minor injuries.Travelling behind the group was HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the patron of the race.

Following the collision, HH Sheikh Mohammed rushed to Al Amri’s aid to make sure she was okay, giving her a gentle pat on the back of encouragement in a tender moment that was captured on camera.
