From leaving the US in 2014 after a string of run-ins with the law to opening up a beach club in Greece that survived for about 5-minutes, Lindsay Lohan’s been a busy bee. Now, after settling down in Dubai, a city she chose for its “calmness,” she announced on New Year’s Eve that she would be returning to America in an effort to return to acting.

Whilst live from Oman with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper she said, “I’m managing my sister, so I want to really focus on me and everything that I can do in my life and come back to America and start filming again, which I’m doing some time soon in this new year. And, you know, just taking back the life I’ve worked so hard for and sharing it with my family and you guys.”

The video shows Lohan in high spirits and we’re not surprised as she has every right to be elated over seeing the back of the decade. In 2016, Lohan was filmed sporting a bizarre accent that made her subject to a whole load of ridicule. In her own defence, Lohan told The Daily Mail, “It’s a mixture of most of the languages I can understand or am trying to learn,”I’ve been learning different languages since I was a child. I’m fluent in English and French, can understand Russian and am learning Turkish, Italian and Arabic.”

She also took the publisher of gaming giant Grand Theft Auto V to court in the same year, claiming that their bikini-clad-loading-screen girl was meant to be her, which… Well, you take a look.
