Since the rise of social media, and the internet as a whole, we’ve seen waves of popular trends. From planking to the hideous tide pod eating debacle and back round to people throwing themselves out of moving vehicles to a Drake song, there have been some pretty dreadful movements. However, sometimes, there are some glorious ones that aim only to soothe and satisfy the mind, body and soul.
Here are some of the loveliest video trends to date (you may need your sound on for some of these!)
1. Kinetic sand
Made up of sand and silicone, kinetic sand mimics wet sand and can be moulded, cut and even scooped!
2. Soap carving
We can imagine that this smells just as good as it looks. It’s basically just cutting up bars of soap but it just looks so good.
3. Slime
Ooey, gooey goodness with a hint of ’90s nostalgia.
4. Hydraulic press
This veers more on the ‘stress-relief’ side. You’ll see why.

At some point, we’ve all fantasised about doing this. Admit it.
7. Squishies
Conflicted between “this is so cute” and “let me smoosh it.”
